1. I was not disappointed when I found out our office was going to be closed Thursday and Friday. I really enjoy my work and thought about what was I going to do with myself.
2. I didn't stay up late and sleep late everyday. I have sleep issues anyway but this was really bad because I really like sleeping like a rock star!
3. I didn't have to turn off a movie because I was too scared to watch it. Wouldn't that make me a total chicken? I used to think no matter what that it was just a movie and not be scared or sad. Funny Games was a brutal movie.
4. I did not hand make gifts that fell apart. I am working on becoming more thoughtful and considerate. Hannah and I made a few birdseed wreaths to share. We gave one to our neighbors and I was going to hang 2 in our yard. A day later I tied a pretty ribbon on ours and took it outside to hang. It fell apart as I looked around for its new home. I used a different ribbon on the 2nd one and again it fell apart. I nervously waited and hoped the neighbors would remain intact for a little while but it didn't. Its the thought that counts right?
5. We did not go back to bed right after Sunday School. We weren't feeling well.
6. I did not work to make everything perfect to begin the new year. I worked all of my days off around the house cleaning, purging and organized. I wanted everything to be perfect when we started work and school Monday.
7. We are not both at home sick today because we both are sick with cold & fever symptoms. Can you believe?
