It's that time again when we all confess all the crazy things we did...oops, I mean DID NOT do this past week.
If you need some good laughs today, click on the icon above for more "Not Me" confessions.
I was not questioned by hospital security for taking a picture of this billboard. A friend of mines sister was proposed to and she wanted me to take a picture of the board. The hospital is across the street on the left. The security guard wanted to know why I was taking pictures of the hospital and said it was against policy. I really don't understand why that would be an issue but I showed him the board and he asked if the pictures were showing up on the camera.
I did not joke around at work and tell Michelle that our boss expected all of the billing to be done before we left Wednesday. Who would believe me anyway? I am always joking around with the girls at work and hate that she worked an hour over Thanksgiving Eve ( her hubby's B-day).
I did not ask my sister, Paula Dean's twin, to bake a special pie for Thanksgiving. I would never expect such.
I am not such a bad cook that my sister would suggest that I just not bring anything to dinner. Was is that or the fact that I always run late?
I did not arrive 40 minutes late for Thanksgiving dinner. I know how hard my sister worked on it. She was sick with a UTI and sinus infection. I would never be so inconsiderate. Atleast I told them to go ahead and start.
I did not miss Jackie's speech on how thankful he was for his family. He didn't even mention me but I know he would have if I had been there.
I did not end up taking the whole pie home because it hadn't been cut yet. I'm sure no one else was interested in tasting since it because it was for me.
I did not over react when Hannah and her neighbor friend gave the kittens a bath, tracked mud on floors and wrecked the house. A messy house is a happy home after all. Too bad I was just about finished cleaning for the day.
I did not work on Christmas Crafts until 3 AM and not wake up to go to Sunday School. I have no idea what got into me but I couldn't stop. I did watch the service on TV and felt guilty.
I did not melt a tea pitcher because I was in a hurry to use the boiler for something else. I had poured sugar in the plastic pitcher and added the tea and 4 tea bags. The pitcher began shrinking and I slowly realized this is not good. I then poured the tea down the sink and we drank coke with our Sunday dinner.
I did not let Hannah stay up too late Sunday night. What a bad mom that would be.
I did not wait until my car's gas tank was completely empty to decide to fill up. You know when you become terrified that you are about to run out. I made it to Sam's and my debit card was INVALID. I changed pumps and same thing INVALID. Different gas station and same thing INVALID card. I checked my balance and had money in my account. Turns out someone in Paris was using my card. The bank noticed and shut the card down. Thank goodness!
I did not come home to find my friend and upstairs neighbor mad about the kittens using her front steps as the litter box. Long story but I did clean it up.
I did not have my electricity cut off for nonpayment! They have never treated me this way. I was sick for 2 weeks and have no idea what happen to that bill. I was shocked when my lunch date told me there was a problem with my power as I was on poop patrol. How embarassing is that? I paid it and they cut it on right away but still. Now I have to search for other bills and see where I stand instead of christmas shopping.
I could really go on and on but I am way too sleepy.
It has been a great week and I'm so glad that I didn't do any of those things! What did you not do?
